Directions from CBP

The Charlotte CBP Global Entry Enrollment Center is in the International Arrivals Area, on the lower level; the closest parking is the hourly parking deck. Upon entering the terminal, via the Skywalk from the fifth floor of the hourly parking deck, go down two levels for Arrivals. Look for the baggage belt eight (8) Once past baggage belt eight there will be a door on the right. Walk down the hall and turn left at the end of the hallway. Turn left and proceed down the hallway that says, “Arriving International Flights DO NOT ENTER.” At the end of the hallway, before the double doors, there will be a freestanding Global Entry sign pointing toward the office on the right. NOTE: Charlotte Douglas Airport is currently under construction; if you have been to the enrollment center in the past, things are drastically different. Please excuse the appearance on your walk to the office.

FAQ

How do I book a Global Entry interview at Charlotte-Douglas Airport?

Apply and get conditional approval on ttp.dhs.gov, then pick Charlotte-Douglas Airport in the official scheduler. When we checked (Oct 28, 2026, 3:28 AM UTC), the soonest open slot was Wed Oct 28, 2026, 2:20 PM.

What should I bring to the Global Entry interview?

CBP asks for a valid passport (or a permanent resident card for lawful permanent residents) and a document that proves your current address, such as a driver's license or a utility bill. Check your conditional approval letter for the full list.

Do I have to interview at an enrollment center?

No. Conditionally approved applicants can use Enrollment on Arrival when they return from an international trip at participating airports, with no appointment.

Is Global Entry worth it over TSA PreCheck?

Global Entry costs $120 for 5 years and includes TSA PreCheck, plus faster U.S. customs when you come home from abroad. If you will fly internationally at all in the next 5 years, it is usually the better value; the trade-off is a CBP interview.
