Directions from CBP

If coming for a FAST interview, you cannot arrive in a semi-truck. We do not have parking capability for vehicles that size! The Enrollment Center is located on the U.S. side of the Ambassador Bridge at the Passenger Processing Facility. If coming from the U.S. use the address to the Michigan Welcome Center at 2835 Bagley St, Detroit, MI 48216. Once at the Welcome Center, drive away from downtown Detroit on Bagley. There will be an immediate left turn in the road, which you will take. After the curve, the facility is straight in front of you. Once you come to the end of the street, there is a parking lot directly to your left for you to park in. Just past that parking lot there are three (3) trailers. You will enter the middle trailer by the door with the ramp. If coming from Canada, advise the officer at the primary booth that you have a scheduled interview and they will tell you where to park and what to do from there.

FAQ

How do I book a Global Entry interview at Detroit Nexus/Fast?

Apply and get conditional approval on ttp.dhs.gov, then pick Detroit Nexus/Fast in the official scheduler. When we checked (Oct 28, 2026, 3:28 AM UTC), the soonest open slot was Wed Oct 28, 2026, 8:10 AM.

What should I bring to the Global Entry interview?

CBP asks for a valid passport (or a permanent resident card for lawful permanent residents) and a document that proves your current address, such as a driver's license or a utility bill. Check your conditional approval letter for the full list.

Do I have to interview at an enrollment center?

No. Conditionally approved applicants can use Enrollment on Arrival when they return from an international trip at participating airports, with no appointment.

Is Global Entry worth it over TSA PreCheck?

Global Entry costs $120 for 5 years and includes TSA PreCheck, plus faster U.S. customs when you come home from abroad. If you will fly internationally at all in the next 5 years, it is usually the better value; the trade-off is a CBP interview.
