Notes from CBP

1) Only those with scheduled appointments will be allowed to enter the enrollment center. 2) You MUST bring proof of citizenship (NO COPIES) with you to your interview. For Global Entry applicants this MUST be a valid passport. 3) You must schedule an appointment for each applicant in your family or domicile. If there are not enough appointments available on a particular day to accommodate the members of your family, then you must select another day. Appointments are not required to be in sequential time slots, you may come in at any one of the appointment times. 4) If ever arrested, you must bring original court documentation for each arrest that clearly shows the charge and disposition of each charge. 5) Applicants who require a visa must provide a valid I-94 at the time of interview, this includes those participating in the Visa Waiver Program. 6) Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. NOTE: If the interview is for a child under the age of 18 AND both parents do not attend the interview, the non-attending parent or legal guardian must sign a letter of consent agreeing to the minor’s enrollment in the Trusted Traveler Program. To expedite the interview process, please email [email protected] and input "Letter of Consent" into the subject line to obtain a copy of this consent in advance. In cases of sole custody or if only one parent is recorded on the minor's birth certificate, the parent or legal guardian does not require a consent letter but must provide proof of sole custody agreement or long form birth certificate.

FAQ

How do I book a Global Entry interview at Niagara Falls EC?

Apply and get conditional approval on ttp.dhs.gov, then pick Niagara Falls EC in the official scheduler. When we checked (Oct 28, 2026, 3:28 AM UTC), the soonest open slot was Mon Nov 2, 2026, 8:10 AM.

What should I bring to the Global Entry interview?

CBP asks for a valid passport (or a permanent resident card for lawful permanent residents) and a document that proves your current address, such as a driver's license or a utility bill. Check your conditional approval letter for the full list.

Do I have to interview at an enrollment center?

No. Conditionally approved applicants can use Enrollment on Arrival when they return from an international trip at participating airports, with no appointment.

Is Global Entry worth it over TSA PreCheck?

Global Entry costs $120 for 5 years and includes TSA PreCheck, plus faster U.S. customs when you come home from abroad. If you will fly internationally at all in the next 5 years, it is usually the better value; the trade-off is a CBP interview.
